Description
English: There are 3 lighthouses in Mahabalipuram town. 2 of these were built during the Pallava era a millennium ago. The other one was built a century ago by Britishers during the colonial era. Mahabalipuram is a town with many stone carved monuments created during the 7th century BC. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
