Summary[edit]

Description Sometimes you miss things unless you look really closely. Fortunately for me, the ancient stone church was in a sunken bit of land, meaning one has to climb down a couple of steps to get to the entrance. It was then that I spotted this ancient script on the lintel stones above the entrance to the church. The script resembles Pali, but it's not that of course. This is in all probability the Georgian script. (Kakheti region, Georgia, Sept. 2016)
