Dirndl uniform of Anna Miller's is known as the origin of uniform of the cosplay cafés, a generic category of the maid cafés.

In 1996, Broccoli Co., Ltd. diverted the designs of the Anna Miller's and its uniform to their PC game "Welcome to Pia Carrot!!", then on 1998 Tokyo Character Show, they temporally opened its themed café. And in 2000, based on it, their original "cosplay café" was opened.

In 2001, Cospa, Inc. was delegated the operation of original cosplay café by Broccoli. They have changed its uniform to French maid style, and renewed it to "maid café" that can be thought as a revival of the jokyū cafés in Japan in 1920s–1930s.
