Description A slightly zoomed out shot of the entrance gate to what I think may be Yangdi village shows that this is hardly a village but rather a bustling little town. I may be off the mark about the name as all signage is in Chinese (except for the sign in white- more on that in the next picture). I could not also catch the commentary which the soft feminine voice f our lovely guide was giving out from downstairs, if she was talking about this town that is. One thing I noticed in China was that although worldwide such 'Chinese style' pagoda gates are usually brightly painted, here in China itself most are dull and drab, and usually in their own natural colours.
