Description
English: The picture represents a spinning mill which the famous architect Johann Traugott Lohse built as his last and most mature work in the period from 1833 to 1836. The image bears the hallmarks of its palace-like architectural style, with risalits, three-quarter columns, representative triangular gables, and a keel-bow roof. The building was used until 1861 as a spinning mill.
Deutsch: Das Bild stellt eine Spinnmühle dar die der berühmte Architekt Johann Traugott Lohse als sein letztes und reifstes Werk in der Zeit von 1833 bis 1836 errichtet hat. Das Bild trägt die Merkmale seines palastartigen Baustils mit Risaliten, Dreiviertelsäulen, repräsentativen Dreiecksgiebeln und Kielbogendach. Das Gebäude wurde bis 1861 als Spinnmühle genutzt.

Das Gebäude ist heute sanierungsbedürftig der Geschichtskreis Schlettau bemüht sich darum dass das Gebäude vom Sächsichen Landesamt für Denkmalpflege als förderwürdig anerkannt und einer Nutzung im Sinne der Würdigung des Aufbaus der Spinnmühlen in den ersten Jahrzehnten des 19. Jahrhunderts zugeführt werden kann.
