Opis vrste

D.t. 15,5-17 cm. Rasprstranjena je u planinskim područjima južne i centralne Evrope, Male Azije, Bliskog Istoka i centralne Azije. Selica je. Zimuje u južnoj i zapadnoj Evropi, severnoj Africi i južnoj Aziji. U periodu gnežđenja naseljava visokoplaninska staništa iznad gornje šumske granice (planinske livade, pašnjake i kamenjare). Van perioda gnežđenja prisutna je u ravničarskim predelima, najčešće u blizoni vodenih staništa. Gnezda gradi na zemlji. Hrani se pretežno insektima i drugim malim beskičmenjacima. U Srbiji je redovna gnezdarica visokoplaninskih područja, čija se populacija procenjuje na 3.100-4.100 gnezdećih parova (Puzović et al 2003).
