Summary[edit]

Description One of many billboards associated with Doug Tompkins trying to raise awareness of risks of development in southern Patagonia. Tompkins is the founder of North Face. He has bought tremendous quantities of land both around Chaiten, and apparently also down south near Cochrane. The former he turned into a beautiful park and made world news when he turned it all over to Chile. It is now the Parque Nacional Pumalin. Unfortunately, it is closed due to a certain angry volcano in the middle of it. Doh!
