Summary
[edit]DescriptionApparently a hybrid between Aloe arborescens and A. ×principis (5507161048).jpg |
I've learned that this may be one of the 'David Verity' hybrid Aloes, or which there are 2-3 in common circulation. This particular one seems to have spread far and wide without any information (based upon how many are asking "what is this Aloe?") on the internet. Prior info (which is incorrect): I believe the flowering aloe in the foreground is A. africana - I received it with some others without names. These three, among the larger, were put into a large terra-cotta pot to 'grow on' a bit (no available appropriate ground space). That's a variegated A. arborescens on the right, and an unknown other aloe on the left. Rosmarinus officinalis 'Joyce de Baggio' (a.k.a. 'Golden Rain') makes a nice background here, with a few of its bright blue flowers just coming on. |
