Description
Español: El arroz a banda es un plato típico de los pescadores mediterráneos valencianos, proviene de un origen y economía muy humildes, en la actualidad del siglo XXI se a convertido en uno de los platos de arroz más populares de la restauración de la costa valenciana. El nombre del plato hace referencia a que el arroz se cocina separado del pescado “a banda”, y según la costumbre original de las tripulaciones pesqueras permitía obtener dos platos de la misma elaboración, un primer plato con el pescado y las patatas sin caldo que se consumia con ajoaceite, y un segundo plato que consistia en un arroz seco hecho con un pequeño sofrito y el caldo de la cocción y cocinado en la típica paella valenciana
Català: L'arròs a banda és un plat típic dels pescadors valencians, prové d'un origen molt humil, però en l'actualitat és un dels plats més populars de la costa valenciana. El nom fa referència al fet que l'arròs es cuina separat del peix, "a banda", i segons el costum original permetia obtenir dos plats de la mateixa elaboració.
