Description
English: Arthur Klap, of Wellington, received the Insignia of a Member of the NZ Order of Merit for services to sport and recreation, on 1 April 2008. Mr Klap has organised more than 500 sporting events, including managing the Masters Games between 1989 and 1995. He was involved with the establishment of Triathlon NZ and was the founding president of the Multisport Association.
