What better way to spend a public holiday than practicing macro photography. It has been far too long since my last macro shoot (months!!!!) so I spent most of my afternoon crawling round the yard and poking around in bushes searching for insects. What a great find this little lady was, she would not let go of her lunch for anything!!! I brought her inside because it was blowing a gale in my back yard (makes shooting macro near impossible) and decided to try some more focus stacking. This is actually nine images stacked in Photoshop. I am not entirely happy with this image, there is plenty of room for improvement - it could be sharper, and the focus is not entirely right and if anyone has any tips for processing macro then please speak up...!
