Description

A look around the outside of Aston Hall. I was there for the Birmingham Heritage Week Siege event, but was also an opportunity to get exterior photos of the hall that I didn't get on previous visits to Aston Park.


Inner courtyard area. From the Stable Range then over to the gate that leads to the open area in front of Aston Hall.


Stable Range - ticket office and the tea room is over there.

Mid C18 stable range of 2 storeys, red brick with plain gables set over first floor windows. Tiled roof. Three-light mullioned casements with drip-cornices facing east. Stable openings to west front. Linked by weathered coping screen wall to north lodge.
