English: Belated obituary for Friedrich Fritz Bamberger and his wife Emilie Milly Ida Bamberger, nee Kaumheimer and Alfred Bamberger's mother-in-law Emma Schwarzhaupt nee Mandelbaum as of June 22, 1945 in the German-Jewish weekly newspaper Aufbau – Reconstruction, published in New York, NY. Vol. XI, No. 25, page 18, column 1. Some of the mentioned dates and locations are incorrect as the first transmitted informations after the end of WWII obviously had been sketchy or inaccurate. Fritz Bamberger, born on December 15, 1862 in Mitwitz, Upper Franconia, Kingdom of Bavaria died on June 29, 1942 in Theresienstadt Ghetto. His wife Emilie Milli Ida Bamberger, nee Kaumheimer, born on March 12, 1870 in Burgkunstadt, Upper Franconia, Kingdom of Bavaria got deported to German occupied Czechoslovakia to Theresienstadt Ghetto, after the death of her husband to the German occupied part of Poland (General Government/Generalgouvernement) to Treblinka extermination camp. Alfred Bamberger's mother-in-law Emma Schwarzhaupt, nee Mandelbaum (1875–1944) died on March 8, 1944 in Theresienstadt Ghetto. Milli is a German short-form of Emilie, Milly its English version.
Deutsch: Verspätete Traueranzeige für Friedrich Fritz Bamberger und dessen Ehefrau Emilie Milli Ida Bamberger, geb. Kaumheimer sowie für Alfred Bambergers Schwiegermutter Emma Schwarzhaupt, geb. Mandelbaum, veröffentlicht am 22. Juni 1945 in der in New York City erscheinenden deutsch-jüdischen Wochenzeitung Aufbau, XI. Jahrg., Nr. 25, S. 18, Spalte 1. Einige der Angaben sind nicht korrekt, die ersten übermittelten Informationen nach Kriegsende waren offenbar noch ungenau. Der am 15. Dezember 1862 im oberfränkischen Mitwitz geborene Fritz Bamberger verstarb am 29. Juni 1942 im Ghetto Theresienstadt. Seine am 12. März 1870 im oberfränkischen Burgkunstadt geborene Ehefrau Emilie Milli Ida Bamberger, geb. Kaumheimer, wurde zusammen mit ihrem Ehemann in die deutsch besetzte Tschechoslowakei nach Terezín/Theresienstadt deportiert, nach dessen Tod in den deutsch besetzten Teil Polens (Generalgouvernement) ins Vernichtungslager Treblinka. Alfred Bambergers Schwiegermutter Emma Schwarzhaupt, geb. Mandelbaum (1875–1944), starb am 8. März 1944 im Ghetto Theresienstadt. Milli ist eine deutsche Kurzform für Emilie, Milly ihre englischsprachige Variante.
