Deutsch: Das 1869 entstandene Gemälde "Religionsgespräch im Marburger Schloß (1529)" zeigt den Disput Martin Luthers mit dem Schweizer Reformator Ulrich Zwingli im Jahr 1529 in Marburg über das Verständnis des Abendmahls. Zu diesem Streitgespräch eingeladen hatte Landgraf Philipp der Großmütige, der auf dem Schloss in Marburg residierte und die Reformation in Hessen eingeführt hatte. Er sitzt links am Tischrand, neben ihm Herzog Ulrich von Württemberg. Das Gemälde ist eine Kopie des Künstlers seines im Hessischen Landesmuseum Darmstadt vorhandenen Gemäldes von 1867.
