Description The Stakna gompa is getting a make over, albeit with new non-stone, non-vegetable paints. This is one of the few ancient paintings remaining, just outside the sanctum sanctorum. This Avalokiteswara radiates tranquility amidst the many 'ugra' paintings. My favourite.
