Description Aviões Embraer A-29 Super Tucano da Esquadrilha da Fumaça na Academia da Força Aérea em Pirassununga/SP. Em 31 de março de 2013, os antigos e históricos aviões Tucanos T-27 fizeram o último voo pela Fumaça em Brasília. O Esquadrão de Demonstração Aérea (EDA), popularmente conhecido como Esquadrilha da Fumaça, realizou na manhã de 3 de julho de 2015 a primeira apresentação após a substituição da aeronave T-27 Tucano pelo A-29 Super Tucano. A demonstração aconteceu durante a cerimônia de entrega de espadim aos cadetes do primeiro ano da Academia da Força Aérea (AFA). A primeira apresentação do Super Tucano em um Domingo Aéreo foi em 23 de agosto de 2015. O retorno da Fumaça reuniu mais de 93.000 pessoas e milhares de pessoas não conseguiram chegar a AFA devido ao enorme congestionamento. A Esquadrilha da Fumaça realizou duas apresentações neste dia, uma de manhã e outra a tarde. Em destaqua a cauda do caça A-4 Skyhalk II, nomeado de AF-1B pela Marinha do Brasil. O caça subsônico fez uma apresentação durante o Domingo Aéreo 2015 e retornou para a Base Aérea Naval de São Pedro da Aldeia/RJ. O voo de Pirassununga até São Pedro da Aldeia durou apenas 25 minutos.
