Description
English: Die layout photo and fabricated chip photo (underside) of a BCH (Bose–Chaudhuri–Hocquenghem) code decoder chip designed by Alex Bugeja at the University of Malta in 1994. This is both the first chip designed in Malta as well as the first successfully fabricated and tested.
