Deutsch: Nach deutschem Recht gilt auf allen Fahrbahnen grundsätzlich eine Erlaubnis zum Parken am rechten Fahrbahnrand, solange keine expliziten Ausnahmen bestehen. In der Praxis führt dies zu linienhaften Barrieren für den Fußverkehr, der insbesondere für Mobilitätseingeschränkte zum Problem wird. Die Berliner Stadtreinigung (BSR) stellt seither die im Bild gezeigten Eigenbau-Objekte auf, um Platz im Straßenraum für den Transport von Mülltonnen zu reservieren, der immer öfter nicht möglich ist. Diese können auch für den normalen Fußverkehr genutzt werden.
English: Under German law, parking on the right-hand edge of the carriageway is generally permitted on all carriageways as long as there are no explicit exceptions. In practice, this leads to linear barriers for pedestrian traffic, which becomes a problem, especially for people with limited mobility. The Berlin municipal cleaning service (“Berliner Stadtreinigung”; BSR) has since set up the self-built objects shown in the picture to reserve space in the road for the transport of garbage cans, which is increasingly not possible. These can also be used for normal foot traffic. |
