English: Shows the blast furance, steam-powered elevator, blowing engine, air receivers and chimney stack of a blast furnace that once existed at Port Lempiere (now part of Beauty Point), on the Tamar River estuary in Tasmania, Australia. It was operated by the British and Tasmanian Charcoal Iron Company in 1876 and 1877. The plant was broken up and sold in 1883. |
