Description Miniscore of bars 23–35 of the first movement of the cantata BWV 39 by Johann Sebastian Bach. The middle treble and bass clefs show the soprano/alto and tenor/bass choral parts. The top line shows the orchestral parts played by two alto recorders, two oboes and the upper strings (two violins and viola). The bottom line is the continuo part.
