Summary

[edit]
Description Back to the railway crossing now, and to Inari station for my trip home for the day. There was a constant flow of suburban trains going up and down the track- Inari station is right after the crossing gates but the public are disciplined enough to wait even is there is a train standing at the station, waiting for it to start and pass. In India people would rush across even as the train has started moving and is bearing down upon them! The train seen here is a Keihan line 2800 series EMU, a model subsequent to the 2600 series we will see shortly. (see subsequent pictures later in this album). (Kyoto, Japan, Apr/ May 2019)
