Description
English: Holika Dahan, symbolizes the burning of all evil and negativity. It is believed that this practice has the power to purify the atmosphere and protect people from diseases and other negative forces. The cow dung cakes are used as fuel for the pyre as they are considered to be pure and holy in Indian tradition.
