Description

The portal's tympanum, in early Romanesque style, depicts the martyrdoom of St. Stephen sentenced to stoning for perjury. Although severely hammered, can be seen two executioners from the Sanhedrin brandishing a stone in the direction of St. Stephan , Saint Ẻtienne (' protomartyr) because he was one of the first martyrs of Christianity.
