English: The 2022 Baliwag cityhood plebiscite was held in the province of Bulacan conducted and supervised by the Commission on Elections on December 17, 2022 per Lawyer Mona Ann Aldana-Campos, Bulacan provincial election supervisor and Edna S. As required by Republic Act 11929, which lapsed into law on July 29 and under Comelec Resolution No. 10849, the plebiscite was conducted on December 17, 2022 to consent the residents of Baliwag on the measure converting the municipality of Baliwag into Bulacan's 4th component city. The new information and campaign period was set from Nov. 17 to Dec. 15, while the plebiscite period was held from Nov. 17 until Dec. 24. 108,572 registered voters from 27 barangays would cast their votes from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with 200 clustered precincts in 26 voting centers (See Comelec Resolutions 10860 - Liquor Ban and 10850 - Prohibitions against appointments). At 10:32 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 (after canvassing and tabulation, under the supervision of Lawyer Mona Ann Aldana-Campos, Bulacan provincial election supervisor with MPBOC Atty.
