English: Klaus Philipp Bamberger (1920–2008), after emigration to the US in January 1938 named as Claude Phillip Bamberger, in his room on the third floor at villa Sonnenhaus in Lichtenfels, Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. Here he was playing with a wooden toy city provided by his family's company D. Bamberger of Lichtenfels and Coburg which also offered educational toys from the midth of the 1920s.
Deutsch: Klaus Philipp Bamberger (1920–2008), nach seiner Emigration in die Vereinigten Staaten im Januar 1938 Claude Phillip Bamberger, in seinem Zimmer im Dachgeschoss der Villa Sonnenhaus in Lichtenfels (Oberfranken). Das Foto zeigt ihn mit einer Spielzeugstadt aus Holz, die aus dem Angebot des in Lichtenfels und Coburg ansässigen Familienunternehmens D. Bamberger stammt, das Mitte der 1920er Jahre um pädagogische Spielwaren ergänzt wurde. |
