Description Bandeirulha chegando na Academia da Força Aérea para ser exposto no Domingo Aéreo 2015, visto do trem de pouso do caça A-4. O Embraer EMB-111 Bandeirante Patrulha, também conhecido pelo apelido de "Bandeirulha", foi criado a partir do avião de transporte Bandeirante e tem como função o patrulhamento marítimo. Seu alcance foi expandido com o uso de tanques na ponta das asas, cada um com capacidade de 318 litros de combustível, semelhantes ao do avião de treinamento Xavante. Equipado com potente radar no nariz, a aeronave possui faróis de longo alcance destinados à busca noturna. Para monitorar e alcançar o gigante litoral brasileiro, a FAB conta com 3 Esquadrões de patrulha estratégicamente posicionados nas regiões norte (Belém), nordeste (Salvador) e sul (Florianópolis) do Brasil. Dois tipos de aeronaves fazem o patrulhamento do mar brasileiro, o P-95 Bandeirulha e o P-3 Orion. A FAB está modernizando o Bandeirulha. As oito unidades modernizadas irão se chamar P-95M
