Español: La bandera de Guacamayas esta formada por tres franjas horizontales la primera y la tercera de 40 centímetros y la del centro de 50 centímetros distribuidos así:
La franja superior de color azul agua marina que significa esperanza por un mejor futuro, también representa el azul de nuestro firmamento. La segunda de color blanco que significa la paz anhelada, la belleza y presencia del nevado que denomina la cordillera oriental sobre la cual estamos ubicados, las guacamayas por que predomino este territorio en tiempos pasados, la orquídea la belleza floral predominante en nuestro municipio, las artesanía, el trabajo laborioso de muchos de nuestros habitantes y distintivo de nuestro pueblo en el ámbito nacional e internacional. La tercera de color verde que significa la esperanza de nuestro pueblo por un mejor futuro, también representa el verdor de los frutos de nuestros campos y el orgullo de los labriegos. |
