Description
Polski: Masowa egzekucja w lesie Barbarka pod Toruniem, gdzie jesienią 1939 r. z rąk członków paramilitarnego Selbstschutzu zginęło ok. 600 Polaków. Zdjęcie jest elementem tzw. Albumu chwały Selbstschutzu (znanego także jako „album Alvenslebena”), odnalezionego po wojnie przez polskie władze.
English: Mass execution in Barbarka forest near German-occupied Toruń. In autumn 1939 approximately 600 Poles were executed in this place by the members of paramilitary Volksdeutscher Selbstschutz. During the Second World War this photo was placed in so-called "Album of fame of Selbstschutz" (known also as "Alvensleben Album"). After the end of war this album was found and taken over by the Polish authorities.
