English: Reservatório da UHE de Barra Bonita, foz do Rio Piracicaba no Rio Tietê, que, além de gerar eletricidade, mantém navegável a Hidrovia Tietê-Paraná, via muito importante para o escoamento da produção agrícola dos estados do Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás e parte de Rondônia, Tocantins e Minas Gerais. Em verde na superfície do lago, explosão na produtividade de cianobactérias / Barra Bonita Reservoir at Piracicaba River mouth on Tietê River, besides producing hydroelectric power, keeps Tietê-Paraná waterway navigability, very important for several Brazilian States agricultural commodities and supplies transportation. Lake surface appears in black with green areas indicating cyanobacterial blooms.
