Nederlands: Bartlehiem. Zicht vanaf de brug over de Oudkerkervaart (voorgrond) in westelijke richting: het groene bruggetje is een (toeristische) voet/fietsverbinding over de Finkumervaart en is bekend van de Elfstedentocht. Schaatsers komen vanaf Finkum onder het bruggetje door en vervolgen hun tocht dan linksaf via de Dokkumer Ee naar Dokkum (op deze foto rechts). Bij terugkomst vervolgen ze hun tocht via de Oudkerkervaart (voorgrond) richting finish (Leeuwarden).
English: Bartlehiem (county Friesland, The Netherlands). Green footbridge is famous location in winter when "Elfstedentocht" skating tour is organized in Friesland. |
