Description
Català: Bateria dels Galvanes a Santoña (Cantàbria) Bateries d'artilleria de costa ja existents al segle XVIII però reforçada el 1812 per les tropes napoleòniques. Comptava amb una bateria superior de dos canons de 36 i una bateria inferior amb quatre carronadas o peces d'artilleria naval de 24. Es van anar reformant i el 1864 van prendre la seva configuració final en que les dues bateries podien albergar 8 canons. El projecte va costar 13.220 escuts. El 1932 va perdre el seu valor militar. El 1992 va ser declarada Bé d'Interès Cultural.

Baterías de artillería de costa ya existentes en el siglo XVIII pero reforzada en 1812 por las tropas napoleónicas. Contaba con una batería superior de dos cañones de 36 y una batería inferior con cuatro carronadas o piezas de artillería naval de 24. Se fue reformando y en 1864 toma su configuración final en la que las dos baterías podían albergar 8 cañones. El proyecto costó 13.220 escudos.

En 1932 perdió su valor militar. En 1992 fue declarada Bien de Interés Cultural.
