Description
Deutsch: Östliches Ende der Frontmauer - die uneinheitliche Mauerstruktur könnte auf Ausbesserungsarbeiten einstiger Bewohner hindeuten. Vermutlich aber ist Heiko Steuer recht zu geben, der davon ausgeht, dass sich der ursprüngliche Mauerzug bis auf den nordöstlichen Felssims ausdehnte. Die Gebäudegrundfläche wäre demnach um ca. 5m verlängert gewesen. Erst zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wurde dieser Teil, möglicherweise aus statischen Gründen abgebrochen und die heutige verkürzte Nordostseite angefügt. Für diese Annahme spricht eben die uneinheitliche Mauerstruktur an der Ostecke: auf größere Bruchsteine wurden kleinere aufgesetzt; dazwischen finden sich u.a. an mindestens zwei Stellen - Innen wie Außen - eingearbeitete Bruchstücke von Dachziegeln. Auch die gut erhaltenen Mörtelspuren, die sich hier besonders abheben geben dieser Schlussfolgerung zusätzliches Gewicht. Im Übrigen bildet der verebnete nordöstliche Felsvorsprung auch heute noch eine geradezu ideale virtuell-optische Fortsetzung des Mauerzuges bis zur Felswand hin.
