Description Das Highlight eines Ulm-Besuchs ist der Bummel durch das alte Fischer- und Gerberviertel am Blau-Fluss, der von Blaubeuren kommend hier in die Donau mündet. Fischer und Schiffer lebten hier mit ihren Familien in den Fachwerkhäusern und auch die Garnsieder und Ledergerber gingen hier ihrem Handwerk nach. Die Gerber hatten ihre Werkstätten direkt am Blau-Flüsschen und konnten so von Plattformen aus die Häute im Wasser spülen und direkt am Wasser auf Stellagen trocknen. - Die schönsten und sehenswertesten Gebäude sind heute meist Hotels und Gasthäuser.
