  • Naissance de Radegonde à Erfurt (Thuringe) en 518 ; prisonnière de Clotaire Ier au château d'Athiers, près d'Amiens ; baptême de Radegonde ; saint Médard, évêque de Noyon, l'invite à épouser Clotaire ;
  • Radegonde mène une vie de prières ; elle fait des aumônes et soigne les malades ; elle chasse les démons ; elle s'enfuit de la cour quand son frère est assassiné par Clotaire ;
  • arrêtée, elle est ramenée à Soissons mais obtient de son mari l'autorisation d'entrer dans un monastère ; elle reçoit l'habit de diaconesse de saint Médard ; elle bâtit le monastère de Sainte-Croix à Poitiers ; elle voit le Christ lui apparaître pour annoncer sa mort prochaine.
