Summary

Description	Eglise Notre-Dame de Beaufort-en-Vallée depuis le château. L'église actuelle fait suite à une chapelle en bois construite vers l'an mille et à une église du XIIème siècle. Au XVème siècle, Jeanne de Laval, épouse de René Ier d'Anjou, décide la construction d'un nouvelle édifice à la place de l'ancienne église romane. La nef et le bras nord sont de la fin du XVème début XVIème. Le clocher sera terminé en 1542. L'essentiel de l'édifice actuel est reconstruit au XIXème siècle, de 1866 à 1877, sur les plans de l'architecte Beignet. The present church follows a wooden chapel built in the year one thousand and a church of the twelfth century. In the fifteenth century, Jeanne de Laval, wife of René d'Anjou, decided to build a new building to replace the old Romanesque church. The nave and north arms of the late fifteenth early sixteenth. The tower will be completed in 1542. Most of the current building was rebuilt in the nineteenth century, from 1866 to 1877 on the plans of the architect Beignet.
