English: Beaulieu-lès-Loches (<indre-et-Loire)
L'Indre, le canal de Beaulieu. Après avoir pris sa source dans le Massif Central et parcouru quelques kilomètres dans le département du Cher, l'Indre pénètre dans le département de l'Indre puis de l'Indre-et-Loire, pour se jeter dans la Loire vers Huismes. Le canal de Beaulieu est une dérivation de l'Indre qui alimentait, sur une distance de 2 à 3 kilomètres, une série de moulins: Moulin de l'Abbaye, moulin à Tan, moulin de l'Aumonier, moulin de Corbery... Le canal de Beaulieu date du XIVe-XVe siècle. |
