English: Kunhar River in Balakot tehsil, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. – Beauty of this region is gradually getting dull. Glaciers are retracting fast, mountains have become balder and drier with substantial fall in the number of water falls. Amount of urbanization and negative effects of human presence are on the rise. There is uncontrollable deforestation. You will see huge tree logs being transported or gathered at places. |
