English: Since 1975, the municipal nativity scene in Cartagena (Spain) is set up for the Christmas holidays in a tent in Plaza de San Francisco, until 2019 under the supervision of the maestro belenista Francisco Alarte. It is a tradition that anachronisms are included in the reproduction of the New Testament Bethlehem, such as iconic buildings of Cartagena.
The photograph shows the wharf of Santa Lucía, a popular neighborhood in Cartagena. It is also visible the side of the Church of Santiago, in the same neighborhood. Español: Desde 1975, el belén municipal de Cartagena (España) se instala de cara a las fiestas de Navidad en una carpa en la plaza de San Francisco, hasta 2019 bajo la supervisión del maestro belenista Francisco Alarte. Es tradición que en la reproducción del Belén del Nuevo Testamento se incluyan anacronismos como edificios icónicos de Cartagena. En la fotografía se muestra el muelle de Santa Lucía, un popular barrio de Cartagena. Además es visible el lateral de la iglesia de Santiago, en el mismo barrio. |
