Summary

[edit]
Description
English: BelOMO LP-3-10× achromatic triplet (jewellers') loupe. This loupe is made in Belarus and finished with black non reflecting surfaces and the lenses are fully multi-coated. A true triplet loupe has an optical system consisting of three compounded optical elements or lenses of different refractive indexes designed for optimal image quality. The Triplet lens-system is made up of two identical concave high index (flint glass) meniscus elements cemented to a double convex low index (crown glass) element and combines the aplanatic features of a distortion free sharp image with the color correction of an achromatic lens. A magnification of 10× is required and hence used by professionals for the examination and grading of precious gems and minerals.
