DescriptionBelle Hall CB deck in a girder bridge.jpg |
English: Overview from the north of the bridge that carries Dutch Cross Road over the Otter Fork of the Licking River, east of Hartford, in western Bennington Township, Licking County, Ohio, United States. Note the unusual wooden deck — the deck and its supports were originally part of the Belle Hall Covered Bridge, which was built in 1879; listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it collapsed in 1999, and the remaining components were salvaged for re-use in what is otherwise a contemporary girder bridge. |
