Ea res dicitur in suo genere finita quae alia ejusdem naturae terminari potest Ex. gr. [=exempli gratia, e.g.] cor- pus dicitur finitum, quia aliud semper maj[u]s concipimus. Sic cogitatio aliâ cogitatione terminatur. At corpus non terminatur cogi= tatione, nec cogitatio corpore. 3. Per substantiam intelligo id, quod in se est, et per se concipitur: hoc est id, cujus conce[p] tus non indiget conceptu alterius rei, à quo formari debeat. 4. Per attributum intelligo id, quod intelle[c] tus de substantiâ [format?] percipit, tanquam ejus essentiam constituens. 5.
