Description
Deutsch: Bergensbanen km171 Börtnes. Dass es auch im weiten Hallingdal schwieriges Gelände zu bewältigen galt, veranschaulicht eine Aufnahme von Axel Lindahl von ca.1890. Beim Bau der Bergenbahn mussten mehrere kurze Tunnel aus dem Fels gehauen werden.
English: Bergensbanen km171 Börtnes. A photo by Axel Lindahl from around 1890 illustrates that there was also difficult terrain to overcome in the vast Hallingdal. During the construction of the Bergen Railway, several short tunnels had to be carved out of the rock.
