Kedves Barátom Uram!
Sajnálom fölöttébb, hogy Uraságodat többszöri személyes kéréseim arra nem bírhatták, hogy 3 esztendő előtt kölcsönözött könyveimet kezemhez juttatta volna. Már most kénytelen vagyok ezt írásban ismételni, reménylem azonban, hogy Uraságod becsület érzése illyen, mind kettőnknek alkalmatlan további lépésektől meg fog menteni, és Barátosi Uram könyveimet már valahára megküldeni fogja, ki barátságába ajánlott vagyok.
