This temple is situated at the top of Piwara hill, at a height of around 600 feet. Between 1812 and 1904, British visitors R. N. Martin, Francis Buchanan, and Block, according to archaeologists, visited this temple. This temple's inscription dates from the middle of 389 AD, confirming its ancestry. The Mundeshwari Bhavani temple's stone carvings are beautiful. The sacrifice of animals (goats) is what makes this temple special. The goat is sacrificed but not murdered in this ritual.
