Summary

[edit]
Description The Temple-front house, which was a popular form of housing in Cincinnati between about 1900 and 1920, is very common in the city's neighborhoods that were developed or redeveloped during that time period, including Mount Auburn. These examples are of the smaller, and plainer houses in this style, which were largely built for working-class and middle-class families. Today, many of these houses can be found throughout the city, as far out as Madisonville, Westwood, and Hartwell. Some have had extensive modifications, including additions and changes to the fenestration and porches.
