Summary[edit]

Description
English: Biofuel demand in 2019-2021 by fuel type compared with the "Renewables 2021" forecast by the International Energy Agency. Biofuel demand recovered in 2021 from its pandemic lows, reaching near 2019 levels. Demand is set to keep rising this year, but the impacts of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have led to a 20% drop in demand growth in 2022 compared to the previous forecast.
