Description
Deutsch: Naturschutzgebiet "Saure Matten", Ostrand des Oberrheingrabens, westlich Wallburg (Ettenheim), Kreis Ortenau, Baden Württemberg. Naturraum: Lahr-Emmendinger Vorberge.
Locker verteilte, hochstämmige Obstbäume in großer, ökologisch bedeutsamer Artenvielfalt im Tal des Seltenbaches. Neben dem Streuobstbestand sind Feuchtbereiche, Wiesen und trockene Hanglagen ein Lebensraum seltener, zum Teil hochgradig gefährdeter Tier- und Pflanzenarten.
English: “Saure Matten” , nature reserve at the eastern scarp of the Rhine graben (Upper Rhine Plain), Southwest Germany. Ecologically very valuable orchards, meadows, seasonally wetlands, dry slopes. habitat for rare and even highly endangered flora and fauna.
