The Black headed muniaa or chestnut munia is a small passerine. It was formerly considered conspecific with the closely related tricolord munia, but is now widely recognized as a separate species.

Description
English: The Black-Headed Munia or Chestnut Munia (Lonchura atricapilla), southern black-headed munia, is a small bird of the Estrildidae family. This munia bird is mostly chestnut with black head.
