English: Premier Blaine Higgs and Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries Minister Margaret Johnson joined 75 New Brunswick businesses at the Seafood Expo North America this past weekend to promote our world-class seafood.
We are proud of our aquaculture and fisheries industries that bring delicious products from the sea to the plates of consumers in New Brunswick and more than 50 countries across the globe. The fish and seafood industries are major contributors to the provincial economy. Seafood exports in 2023 were $1.7 billion and included growth in the value of salmon sales and diversification of products in the global marketplace.
