26 Blick Terrace, Nelson Historic Places Trust Building 5164 Category II

I came across this once-was-rather-grand homestead in the middle of last year and wondered about its history. Returned for a photo shoot today and, in an interesting twist of fate, discovered this was the old Blick homestead. Thomas Blick arrived in Nelson in 1943 on board the Indus. He set up a successful weaving business in Nelson. House currently inhabited.
